  1. These terms and conditions define the scope and conditions of the service provided electronically by Filmclass Bartłomiej Żmuda, located in Warsaw, ul. Turmoncka 12/130, 03-254 Warszawa , registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register under number REGON 529443535, email: contact@filmclass.world, website: www.filmclass.world.
  2. The Filmclass.world course (excluding two in-person meetings) is provided electronically live, meaning the service is performed remotely through the transmission of data using electronic devices and telecommunication networks as defined by the Telecommunications Law.
  3. The service is provided using electronic communication means, i.e., technical solutions (including ICT devices and cooperating software tools) that allow for individual remote communication through data transmission between ICT systems.
  4. Under these Terms, the following terms have the following meanings:
    - Service or Course - the implementation of the directing course named Filmclass.world in the form of interactive online lectures and two in-person meetings in Warsaw.
    - Service Provider responsible for delivering and implementing the Service - FILMCLASS.WORLD Bartłomiej Żmuda.
    - Participant or Service User – a natural person with full legal capacity, obliged to comply with these Terms.
  5. Starting to use the Service signifies full acceptance of these Terms by the Service User without the need for a separate agreement and the privacy policy, which is an integral part of these Terms and is available at www.filmclass.world/privacypolicy. The User must also consent to the processing of personal data for Service purposes.
  6. Current information about the function and purpose of software or data not forming part of the Service content introduced into the ICT system used by the User (cookies) is included in the Privacy Policy.
  7. Service Users can contact the Service Provider via email: contact@filmclass.world.
  1. The Service Provider provides the following Services to Participants according to the principles and scope defined in these Terms:
    - enabling the Service User to access live online classes within the Course,
    - providing information and access to in-person classes conducted by the Service Provider.
  2. The course runs from November to June and consists of monthly online meetings according to a set schedule, excluding two in-person classes (February, June).
  3. The Course is conducted via the online platform specified by the Service Provider - Google Meets.
  4. As part of the Course, the Service Provider also commits to organizing two in-person meetings in Warsaw.
  5. The entire course comprises 130 hours of lectures.
  6. All sessions are conducted in English and Polish.
  7. The Service Provider reserves the right to change the Course offer if the change is due to reasons beyond the Service Provider's control. This right will only be exercised in special situations.
  8. The Service Provider reserves the right to cancel classes in exceptional circumstances, such as the tutor's illness. In this case, the classes are not lost but rescheduled at a time agreed upon with the group members.
  9. The Course concludes with an exam that involves the Participant creating their own documentary or feature film (lasting between 5 to 21 minutes), evaluated by Tutors.
  10. Failure to pass the exam requires the Participant to revise their film according to the Tutors' guidance and resubmit it for evaluation.
  11. Upon passing the exam, i.e., receiving a positive grade, Participants receive a certificate of completion of the Filmclass.world Course.
  12. The Service Provider reserves the right to conduct Service evaluations in the following forms:
    - personalized surveys,
    - anonymous surveys,
    - interviews after the training.
  1. Participation in the Course is based on:
    - submitting an application through the form available on the website www.filmclass.world,
    - submitting a portfolio,
    - making a non-refundable application fee payment,
    - successfully passing the recruitment process,
    - paying the tuition fee.
  2. The deadline for Course applications is indicated on the website www.filmclass.world.
  3. The Service Provider will send the Participant a confirmation of passing the recruitment process via email no later than two weeks before the first class date, based on the information provided in the application.
  4. To use the Service, the user must meet the following technical requirements necessary to cooperate with the Service Provider’s ICT system:
    - access to the Internet (minimum 128 kbps connection for the user);
    - possession of an email account,
    - a web browser: Internet Explorer version 5.5 and higher, Opera version 7.x and higher, Firefox version 1.x and higher, Google Chrome version 5.0 and higher, or Safari 5 or higher, accepting Cookies.
  1. Course fees are available on the website www.filmclass.world.
  2. The Course fee includes participation in online classes (excluding access to devices and the Internet, which each Participant must arrange independently), participation in in-person classes in Warsaw (excluding travel and accommodation costs, which each Participant must arrange independently), and a paper Certificate of Course completion upon passing the exam.
  3. After successfully passing the recruitment and verifying the correctness of the information in the confirmation email, the Participant may pay for the Course via PAYU or by bank transfer to the details provided in the received email.
  4. The Participant may pay the entire Course fee or choose to pay in installments by paying the first installment when placing the order, according to the offer on the website www.filmclass.world.
  5. Payment for the Service must be made immediately after receiving the confirmation email of passing the recruitment, but no later than 10 days before the Course start. The payment date is considered the day the Service Provider’s bank account is credited with the transfer amount.
  6. The transfer title should include the Participant’s name and the Course date.
  7. The Course invoice is sent in PDF format to the Participant’s email address unless the Participant chooses another form in the application.
  8. If the Client fails to make payment within 7 days of placing the order, the Service Provider reserves the right to cancel the Participant’s order, which will be immediately communicated to the Service User via email.
  9. Absence from classes does not entitle a reduction in Course fees.
  1. In case of withdrawal from the Course, the Participant should send a written request (statement of withdrawal) via email to the Service Provider: contact@filmclass.world.
  2. Withdrawal from the Course results in the Participant being charged the full Course cost.
  1. The Service Provider provides services to the Service User to the extent and on the conditions specified in these Terms.
  2. The Service User agrees to comply with these Terms.
  3. The Service User is obliged to comply with the prohibition of abusing electronic communication means and delivering the following content to or from the ICT systems of the Service Provider:
    - content causing disruption or overload of the Service Provider’s ICT systems or other entities directly or indirectly involved in providing the Service electronically,
    - content not in compliance with generally applicable laws and legal acts binding on members of the bar association,
    - content violating the rights of third parties, generally accepted social, moral norms, or good manners; offensive or violating anyone’s dignity.
  4. In exceptional cases affecting the security or stability of the ICT system, the Service Provider has the right to temporarily discontinue or limit the Service provision after notifying the Service User and to carry out maintenance work to restore the security and stability of the ICT system.
  5. The Service Provider is not responsible for interruptions in the Service due to failures or malfunctions of ICT systems beyond the Service Provider’s control.
  6. The Service Provider is not liable for damages caused by malfunctioning transmission systems, including equipment failures, delays, and transmission disruptions.
  7. The Service Provider reserves the right to interrupt Service provision if the Service User violates these Terms, applicable laws, or generally accepted social and moral norms.
    The Service Provider, fulfilling the obligation under Article 6(1) of the Act of July 18, 2002, on the provision of services by electronic means (Journal of Laws No. 144, item 1204, as amended), informs about the specific threats associated with using electronic services. This information concerns potential threats but should be considered despite the security measures implemented by the Service Provider to protect its infrastructure from unauthorized actions by third parties.
    · The primary threats associated with using the Internet include:
    - malware – various types of applications or scripts with harmful, criminal, or malicious actions towards the ICT system of the network user, such as viruses, worms, trojans (trojan horses), keyloggers, dialers;
    - spyware – programs that monitor the user’s actions, collect information about the user, and send it – usually without their knowledge and consent – to the author of the program;
    - spam – unwanted and unsolicited electronic messages sent simultaneously to many recipients, often containing advertising content;
    - phishing – fraudulently obtaining personal confidential information (e.g., passwords) by impersonating a trustworthy person or institution;
    - hacking tools such as exploit and rootkit used to break into the user’s ICT system.
  8. To avoid the above threats, the User/Service User should equip their computer and other electronic devices used to connect to the Internet with antivirus software, which should be constantly updated. Protection against threats related to using electronic services also includes:
    - enabled firewall,
    - updating all software,
    - not opening email attachments of unknown origin,
    - reading application installation windows and their licenses.
  1. All rights to the content on the website www.filmclass.world and the content that is part of the Service belong to the Service Provider or third parties who have consented to their dissemination by the Service Provider under the terms set out in these Terms and Conditions.
  2. No part of the publication (such as text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio files, video files, data files, presentations, programs, and all other data) presented on the website www.filmclass.world may be reproduced or disseminated in any form or in any way without the prior permission of the Service Provider.
  3. Recording, copying, duplicating, or further sharing of content and login data is prohibited without the consent of the copyright owner.
  4. The Service Provider does not require Users to transfer copyrights regarding the films they create as part of their exam assignments.
  1. The processing of personal data of Service Users who are natural persons concerns: first name, surname, contact details, account number, and email addresses provided when applying for the course and logging into the platform.
  2. The Service Provider declares that it applies technical and organizational measures ensuring the protection of personal data appropriate to the risks and categories of data subject to protection, in particular securing data against unauthorized access, being taken by an unauthorized person, processing in violation of applicable law, and change, loss, damage, or destruction.
  3. The principles for processing personal data in the Service Provider's ICT networks are specified in the Privacy Policy.
  1. These Terms and Conditions are effective as of August 25, 2024.
  2. The content of these Terms and Conditions can be saved by the user by printing, saving on a storage medium, or downloading at any time from the website www.filmclass.world.
  3. The Service Provider reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on the website www.filmclass.world and will take effect on the date of their publication.
  4. The use of the Service by the user after the introduction of changes to the Terms and Conditions signifies their acceptance.
